Phil Marden, newly transplanted to Portland, Oregon, has worked as an illustrator and designer in New York City for the past 20 years. He is best known for illustrating "The Metropolitan Diary" in THE NEW YORK TIMES for eight years. He also illustrated a column in THE BOSTON GLOBE for fifteen years. His work has appeared in dozens of other magazines and newspapers as well as on CBS, PBS, MTV, CNBC, in commercials, books and movies, including the 2004 remake of "The Stepford Wives".
